- Details: This is such a bright decorative plate, it makes you happy just looking at it! Beautiful detail throughout the entire piece, it is part of the Famille Rose family known as Millefleur, which translates to Million Flowers. There are peonies, cherry blossoms, lotus, poppies, chrysanthemums, what else do you see? The plate is bordered with the Greek Key shape in varying colors of yellow, green, purple and blue. In the Orient this is known as Meandering shape which symbolizes nature, a meandering river. There are gold accents here and there throughout the plate and it is rimmed in gold. The back is stamped: "Decoration Only", meaning NOT FOR FOOD USE. It has the triangle logo for Zhongguo Zhi Zao that goes back to the 1970's. This plate is not pre-drilled, use a plate stand or hanger to display. Overall a beautiful plate with vibrant colors, really a gorgeous addition to your wall plate collection or as decoration for a tabletop, mantle or bookcase. Makes a gorgeous gift.
