Our WoodRiver® Glue Container holds .9 liter or 1.9 pints of glue, plus it comes with a chip brush and a conical cap to seal the container, so the brush may be stored in the glue when not in use.
Note: For Use with Woodworking Water-Based Glues Only.
Glue can be stored for a short time, like a lunch break, or for an extended period of time, such as between weekends in your shop. This is possible because of the container’s unique way of storing and dispensing glue – it makes use of the same vacuum principle as a hummingbird feeder. Despite holding almost two pints of glue, it limits the amount of glue exposed to the outside air and the brush.
Dip the brush in the exposed container glue pond, remove excess glue from the brush by drawing across the “scraping bar,” and continue on until you have the amount of glue you need. When done, replace the conical cap with the glue brush in place, and you’re ready for the next time. Complete use and filling instructions included.
