- Note: For best results with our metallic thread, we recommend using Topstitch Needle with larger eye to work with (size 80/12 or 90/14). To avoid breakage, please slow down your machine and reduce the tension settings, lower the speed of stitches to ≤600. If you encounter tangling, a thread net or vertical spool stand will help prevent knots and ensure stable thread feeding
