Snow Picket Cable

A simple addition that makes your snow anchor significantly more capable. The SMC Picket Cable attaches directly to the SMC I Picket, allowing you to place a deadman anchor without cutting a slot — the thin cable profile slices cleanly through the snow on its own, leaving the surrounding pack undisturbed for the strongest possible placement. The included stainless steel quick link provides a secure, semi-permanent connection between cable and picket during use, and removes cleanly when not needed.

Built in the USA from galvanized steel cable with a stainless steel quick link. Straightforward to rig, no ice axe or snow saw required.

TO USE: Attach cable to SMC I Picket using the included quick link — ensure screw collar is fully closed before use. Place picket in snow; the cable profile will cut through without slot preparation. Use with pickets only.
