Waykar 2025 Energy Star 150 pt. Commercial Dehumidifier for Home, Basement, Bedroom, Bathroom, 7000 Sq. Ft, with Drain Hose, Auto Swing

<p>We bought a house with a basement so damp you could feel it on your skin. Our first dehumidifier was a joke against 7,000 square feet of wet concrete and stale air. I plugged in the Waykar 150-pint unit, set it to 50% humidity, and went to bed. By morning the floor was dry, and the air no longer clung to my lungs.</p> <p>The first surprise was the Dry Clothes Mode. When the dryer died mid-winter, we hung wet laundry on a rack, aimed the oscillating vent toward it, and pressed the dedicated mode. Everything was dry by sunrise—no stiffness, no mildew. The auto-swing function now pushes dry air into our storage alcove, a corner we’d long abandoned to dampness.</p> <p>At 44dB on low, this thing is practically a whisper. Sleep Mode automatically adjusts humidity by room temperature, so we never have to fiddle with settings at 3 a.m. And the drain? It hooks straight to a standard garden hose. I ran a line to the floor drain two months ago and haven’t touched the bucket since.</p> <p>What really sealed the deal was the intelligence under the hood. The self-drying cycle runs after shutdown, so nothing grows inside. Auto defrost handles our cold-weather snaps. If anything ever goes off, the display shows a specific error code instead of a blinking mystery light. It’s Energy Star certified, UL listed, and pulls 783 watts—efficient for the gallons it removes daily.</p> <p>Now the basement is dry, the laundry dries faster, and our books and boxes stay safe year-round. If your big space has a stubborn damp problem, this is the machine that solved ours.</p>

• 150-Pint Dehumidifier for Basements & Whole Home up to 7000 Sq Ft: Extracts up to 150 pints/day at saturation and a DOE-rated 50 pints. Built for the largest, wettest spaces—deep basements, open-plan living areas, and whole floors that need serious moisture removal.
• Dry Clothes Mode & Wide Auto Oscillation: A dedicated laundry mode drives humidity to 15% to dry clothes indoors overnight. The auto-swing louver circulates dry air wall-to-wall, eliminating musty dead zones even in irregular layouts.
• 44dB Ultra-Quiet with 3 Comfort Modes: Runs as low as 44dB. Switch between Dry Mode (30%-80% adjustable), Sleep Mode (humidity auto-adjusts by room temperature), and Dry Clothes Mode. 3 fan speeds and a humidity progress bar give you full command.
• Continuous Drain Fits Standard Garden Hose: Includes a 1m PVC drain hose, and the connector fits any standard 1/2-inch garden hose for extended, hands-free drainage. The oversized 1.88-gallon (7.1L) tank with auto shut-off is there whenever you need portability.
• Energy Star Certified, Self-Maintaining Design: Meets DOE, CEC, and UL standards. The self-drying function prevents internal mold, auto defrost tackles cold basements, and a 3-minute compressor delay protects the motor. Power outage memory and auto error codes remove all guesswork.
